Through a Passion for the Game of Squash

Established in 2015, this
Foundation’s mission revolves around nurturing the sport’s inclusivity for participants of all ages.

Upholding values such as integrity, inclusivity, safety, and collaboration, the Foundation has become a cornerstone in the squash community.

Board of Directors

Visionary Leadership, Expert Management, and Community Dedication

The Bow Valley Squash Foundation’s board comprises visionaries like Ron Coggan, who has led since its inception, and Kevin Arnsdorf, a sports management expert.

The foundation’s initiatives span Junior Outreach programs, adult engagement, and impactful partnerships, with a recent collaboration for outreach to new Canadians. The dedication of individuals like Jennifer MacAulay, Richard Bremner, and Omar Angeles demonstrates a commitment to sustaining free Junior & Adult squash programs.

Our Board of Directors

Every year in April, board directors are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and once elected serve a one-year term. Members of the board can repeat their term by submitting the intention to do so at the AGM. This year’s members are:

KEVIN ARNSDORF

President

Kevin was elected President of the Foundation in April 2024 after a few years of facilitating the Junior Outreach Squash program & Adult Try it programs.

He looks forward to supporting the growth of squash in the Bow Valley by creating more opportunities for all residents through enhanced partnerships with the Settlement Services of the Bow Valley and the Town of Banff.

JENNIFER MACAULAY

Secretary

Jennifer MacAulay, a BVSF founding member, who serves as secretary, managing meeting minutes, tournament support, and aiding new squash players in the Bow Valley since 1975.

Richard Bremner

Treasurer

As Treasurer of BVSF, Richard oversees finances, annual statements, audits, and community fundraising for free squash programs.

Omar Angeles

Vice President

As a newly appointed member, with his global squash experience and Barcelona squash school background, Omar aids fundraising and junior outreach programs, notably as Assistant Tournament Director.

Jarred Brink

Director

Newly appointed Director in 2024, Jarred, brings with him 20 years of squash playing experience to the BVSF. He aims to support the BVSF regular programming as well as supporting community engagement and coaching.
